Once Mandy gets back to work teaching she is going to supply her recipe on how to make "SLIME". Whooo Hooo.

Mandy is back to work so now...here's her world famous "SLIME" recipe...

(Please note that if you're from Wellesley College then you better do this right or you're gonna flunk big time)

Ingredients

water

5% polyvinyl alcohol solution *

4% sodium borate solution *

Directions

Mix 10 mL water with 10 mL sodium borate solution. Add this mixture to 40 mL of the polyvinyl alcohol solution. vigorously shake for 30 seconds and then roll around in container for another 30 seconds. Let sit for a few minutes for slime to "set".

For fun, add food coloring to make colored slime!

*NOTE: Once I (J. Callan) find out what these ingredients actually are - hopefully not cat vomit or something like that - I'll post where to find them, etc... For those of you who have trouble measuring with the metric system then instead of using 10mL as a measurer just substitute 1 (one) shot glass instead so it will be 1 shot glass of water, 1 shot glass of sodium borate solution and 4 shot glasses of the polyvinyl alcohol solution. Also please wash out the shot glasses when you're done. The idea of drinking tequila and slime isn't doing my stomach any good.
